Domestic / Local Support
Local church support
We love and support local churches through relationship, care, resources and prayer. We participate in The Local Church Network, which is a fellowship of elders in the St. Petersburg area marked by relationship, mutual care and a love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This participation involves:
- Monthly fellowship
- Ongoing care, accountability and support
- Sharing of resources
- Partnership in mission where it seems fit
- Combined effort in identifying and training leaders where it seems fit

Church planting (locally and internationally)
We long to see more churches planted in the Bay Area and around the world. Please join us on this mission through prayer, giving and participation in community life here at Gulf Coast Community Church.
Cares (by Apartment Life)
In a survey of apartment residents, half said they didn’t have any friends within their community. Apartment communities are filled with people who are hungry for community, and Apartment Life’s passion is to meet that need.
Apartment Life is a faith-based, non-profit organization that is motivated by the belief that every individual is created for community. Apartment Life sends CARES Teams to live onsite in apartment communities and live out God’s calling to love their neighbors through practical, intentional, and everyday ways.
We currently support two CARES teams: Tim and Danielle Collins @ Bay Isle Key and Chris and Miriam Cuatt @ Elan Gateway Apts.

The Next Stepp Center
The Next STEPP Life Center is a nonprofit Christian organization offering life-affirming solutions to women, men and families facing unintended pregnancy and resources to pregnant and parenting women and their families. We aim to empower women and men to make life and lifestyle choices that promote their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. We help families take the BEST next steps for life!
They offer families “Life, Help, & Hope”; Life by counseling on life-affirming alternatives to abortion; Help through support, education, and providing material resources, and Hope as we present the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. Our clients receive free, confidential, easily accessible services.
They are a unique pregnancy center that serves clients in a predominately African American community and are located in an economically challenged area of South St. Petersburg, Florida. Only a few pregnancy centers around the country have opened in urban areas, and of them, very few have been able to sustain operation. However, through prayer and support from churches, organizations and individuals, we have been able to serve our community continually since opening (as St. Petersburg Pregnancy Center, Inc.) in 1993.
The Next STEPP Center serves everyone regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religion, economic or marital status, however, because the majority of our clients are African American, they are particularly concerned that the lives of nearly 45% of all African American babies end in abortion. With that in mind, they are also the Next STEPP to the community as they Support, Treasure, Educate, Promote and Preserve a culture of life in the community.
You can give, pray, volunteer, mentor and more.

“Created Is A Non-Profit, Non-Denominational Christian Organization Committed To The Restoration Of Vulnerable Women Involved In The Sex Industry To An Understanding Of Their Value, Beauty, And Destiny In Jesus Christ.”
They believe that a growing, thriving relationship with Jesus is the context in which vulnerable women will find hope for emotional, physical, and social healing from the wounds that sexual exploitation and their involvement in the sex industry has inflicted. By offering new life through a relationship with Jesus Christ, a message of identity (a name), a place for belonging and community (a place), and advocacy for the women (a voice) they hope to bring light, hope, and transformation to women caught in prostitution and other forms of sexual exploitation.
Get involved through prayer, street outreach, club outreach, transport, mentoring, life skills training, donations and more.
