At Gulf Coast, we say that we are “Building a faithful Gospel witness for this generation and the next.” This Sunday—if you want to think about it like a car—I am going to take the body off the car and look at the inner workings, the “under the hood stuff,” of what animates that mission statement.
Why do we do things the way we do at Gulf Coast? As we explore Paul’s personal mission from Colossians 1, we will see Paul’s goal for his life and Paul’s method for reaching that goal. Then we will see how Paul invites us to join him in that same mission. I will highlight some of the things we do as a church so that you can see why we do them, and more importantly, why they are important. Then we will talk about how you are a participant in the glorious mission through the methods Paul lays out for each of us.
In addition to this we will continue to hear exciting testimonies shared about how we have been and will be able to participate in the mission of God around the world. Join us as we explore Colossians 1:25-29; 3:15-17.
