our Mission Statement


Gulf Coast Community Church is a family of people joined in our commitment to being a New Testament church.  The following expresses what we believe that church should look like, and what we pray we are enabled to become.  

Because of God’s love manifest in the life, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus[1], we are no longer alienated from the life of God.[2] Therefore, we are reaching out to our community and the world with the Gospel[3].  We endeavor to do this by building lives together[4]:

     
  • Whose caring communicates the kindness of God[5]
     
  • Whose joy being grounded, not in this world’s pleasures, but in the life that is truly life, expresses the incomparable worth of God[6]
     
  • Whose pursuit and application of Biblical truth makes known our delight in the rule of God.[7]
     
  • Whose manner of life is worthy of imitation and makes the truth of God attractive[8]
     
  • Whose experience demonstrates the presence of God by His Spirit and the reality of what is to come[9]
