Every disciple of Jesus has been given the privilege and responsibility to speak the good news of Jesus to others. Maybe you want to speak of Jesus but you don’t know where to start or maybe you’re just afraid to mess up. This Sunday we’ll learn from the early church (specifically the Apostle Peter) how to speak of Jesus. And who better to look to? Acts 10 gives us a front row seat to a huge moment in church history – a time when God makes clear that any ethnic, cultural or geographical divide previously set up has been torn down in Christ. Peter is given an unexpected opportunity to speak of Jesus to a man who is in everyway on the “outside looking in” – divided by ethnicity and culture. So how does he do it? What does he say and what does it mean for us today?
