
Dave and his wife Susan moved their family to St. Petersburg in 1992 as part of the team that started Gulf Coast Community Church. They have four children: Luke, Zack, Ben and Leah. In addition to serving the church as an elder and community group leader, Dave is a freelance marketing communications professional.

Jerry has 30+ years of pastoral ministry experience, of which he has served over twenty years as preaching pastor here at Gulf Coast Community Church. Jerry believes in expository preaching, which strives to make the point or argument of the text of scripture the point or argument of the sermon. Jerry and his wife Donna have been married for 40 years and have four adult children, four sons and daughter in laws, and seven grandchildren. On top of his pastoral service and family life, Jerry is studying for a Masters of Theological Studies through the Distance Learning program at Calvin Seminary (Grand Rapids), finishing in May 2020.


Peter and his wife Allison have been attending Gulf Coast since 2012. Peter joined the staff in June of 2016 as a pastoral intern and began serving full-time on the pastoral team in June of 2019. His primary areas of responsibility include guest integration, member care, oversight of ministry teams, adult Christian education classes, Community Group Leader care, and occasional Sunday morning teaching. Peter earned his Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary Orlando. He and Allison have a son, Machen.

Rachel joined the staff as an administrative assistant at the end of May 2018, but has been an active part of Gulf Coast since her family first started attending in the summer of 2015.

Ryan is the director of CoMission, our outreach to college students at USF St Pete. Ryan’s passion for discipleship serves the entire church. Ryan also oversees our middle and high school student ministries.

Steven joined the pastoral team in January 2011. Steven came on staff with many years of pastoral care and ministry experience. His primary areas of responsibility include pastoral care, Biblical counseling, visitation, administration and oversight of GCCC Ministry Teams. Steven is supported by his wife Pam. Together they have three children: Ranae, Maria and Joshua.
